The Enfield Fire Department has been serving fire district 1 in Enfield, CT for more than 100 years. District 1 has a population of 20,000 and covers 16 square miles of the southwest portion of town. The district is primarily residential with a heavy mix of commercial and light industrial parcels. The Enfield Fire Department operates out of two fire stations and is staffed by a combination of volunteer and full-time members.
